As I came across to the internet I found lot of useful programs and software which are called “freeware” means distributed free for internet users, there are software called “GNU ” “LPG”, “Open Source” too for which I will give brief definition later in the article . Some of them are “shareware” which means you have to buy them after a trial period. There are software’s offered by companies like Microsoft , IBM , Adobe , Linux , BSD , Solaris, Mozilla and many more offerings for the benefit of the internet community. There are other type of free software called Open Means, Domain public , Charity ware and Smile ware. But, beware there are lot of softwares called Adware and Spyware which come along with some freeware, shareware or free download. These are unbearable in certain cases and Spyware is the most vicious, Painful; program . It automatically install in your computer and record everything on what you are doing in your computer. Today they are very much in use and found every where including renowned commercial software. Not to worry much there are tools available on internet using those you can remove these completely from your hard disk. You will found them on internet and I have given some of links of Spyware removal tools in my download link page. There are other tools which are came with spy ware are “Key loggers” (Record every thing you type in a browser keyboard i.e.  passwords, credit card nos., bank account nos.), “Spy Dialers” (An automated process to dial international nos. i.e. p*rn using your modem) It is advisable to discontinue the use of software so that it wont violate the license of the software. “Adware” is comparatively less painful in certain cases where you get free quality software from the provider in exchange of publishing there advertisement.

GNU: “Guhh Not Unix”: Gnu is a project started in 1984 to develop a free for all OS (Operating system) initially like Unix which was a commercial one. Later on it extended on free software foundation FSF who are the organizational sponsor of Project. Software under GNU General public license ensures users to access the source code freely, do any modifications (If it is provided in license terms) but restricted to change the author of the source code, mandatory publishing the original author in new versions derived from them so that no one can adopt the software and original author remains owner of its creation. This evoke thousands of individual’s personal contributions from developers and programmers from all over the world which results birth of excellent quality software’s like Linux, Apache, Mozilla and others.
